Muusa Liinpaa founded Muusa Compass in 2017 and runs it as managing broker, everyone on the team work under her license, and every file lands on her desk. 

She negotiates hard and with kindness. Agents choose to work with Muusa because the work is clean, the communication is clear, and nothing gets missed. Twenty-five years in the Pacific Northwest, and a real appetite for the parts of a transaction most people would rather skip. 

The first conversation is almost never about a home. It's about a job that changed, a household that grew, a decision that's been circling for a year, or maybe years. She listens for that first, because the home is only ever the answer to it, and the wrong home answers the wrong question. Once she knows what you're actually solving for, the rest is craft: the disclosures, the inspection report, the addendum nobody read, the deadline nobody wrote down. 

She explains all of it until it's clear, brings in the stagers and inspectors worth paying for, and says plainly when a home isn't worth the fight. Buying or selling, first home or fifth, anywhere from Seattle to Bellingham, with the same response time at every price point. 

Her clients arrive by referral. Every one of them comes on somebody else's word, and she has never taken that lightly. Her three teenagers grew up with a mother who took calls from mountain tops, negotiated from Disneyland, and spent one Christmas on the phone with a client who needed someone to stay on the line. They waited. She'd make the trade again. 

The people on the other end of those calls are still in her life. One of them liked the process enough that she now runs it:  Susanna came to Muusa Compass as a client and stayed as the team's transaction coordinator.

Real estate moves fast—but Michael’s roots run deep. Raised on a 2,000-acre farm in Eastern Washington, he learned early that hard work, integrity, and long-term relationships matter. After two decades in Seattle’s tech and finance sectors—partnering with executives in software development, human capital, and process improvement—he pivoted to real estate with one clear goal: to serve.

Michael doesn’t believe in selling homes—he believes in building value, offering insight, and becoming a trusted advisor. Whether clients are buying their first home, upsizing, downsizing, or investing, he brings negotiation savvy, data fluency, and a calm, strategic mindset to every transaction. He listens closely, communicates clearly, and equips his clients with the tools and confidence they need to make smart decisions.
